Star Wars Sneakers.

3CPO and R2D2.

The star wars original saga from Adidas continues. This time it's a complete split. Inner side gold, outer side white/blue.

Almost every character from the movies has gotten a sneaker in Adidas previous Star Wars collection. This time it's the two best robot buddies that get their own combo-sneaker. The pair doesn't just work well on the big screen but also on a sneak.

But if somebody would have pitched this idea to me I would have been sceptic. One side white with blue the other gold? Just split in the middle? Not really the normal colorway now is it. But somehow it works. And it will surly turn some heads.

JS License Plate.

Read that Plate.

This time around we have something for the one that really likes a big tongue on his/her sneaker.

This sneak is a limited edition sneak in the ObyO collection made by designer Jeremy Scott. It could be a way to simply stand out in the crowd or this one is saying that big tongues are on the way in again.

So for it's originality and it's potential to be a part of a really interesting look. I just had to show it to you guys. Check out more pictures or order your own pair over at sixfeetdown.com

Super Star 80's

Adidas Drop.

Big launch from Adidas. Here a vintage looking Super Star 80's. Designed by Kazuki, Neighborhood and Luker.

Even if I'm not a big fan of the shell toe on the super star this is a clean limited sneaker from Adidas. Great color combo that works prefect with the retro look of the sole. A must have if you like Adidas. But if you want a pair you better be fast, their going for 149,90€ over at Six Feet Down. Once there make sure you check out all the other Adidas original releases.

Since I'm going to Stockholm later this week I just have to take a look when I'm there. Especially when this launch has sneaks like this one.

You can't have to many clean white sneaker, now can you?

"Raw Dogs" Stan Smith MID, 10 Deep

10 Deep.

The collaboration with 10 Deep is one that started back in 2008. It took them a while but the result is something that was worth waiting for.

This being the prime sneaker season one would think that new releases would be falling from the sky. That is not really the case, at least not when it comes to good looking sneaks. But when you look a little harder you find sneakers like this one.

10 Deep has simply taken a Stan Smith Mid and put their touch on it. With the colorway "Iron & Chrome" this sneak is a low key type of shoe. But since gray is really easy to match with that is just a plus.

Adidas Grün, Nizza Hi

Ya Man!

Nizza Hi, one of Adidas thinner sneakers. A good alternative to any converse sneak. Perfect for the warmer times.

Not only is it a nice sneak, it's also apart of Adidas Grün collection. Which is suppose to mean that this sneaker is made under the best environmental circumstances. That the material used and the way it's been made doesn't waste too much of this planet.

I have no idea if that's true or not. I mean, is there anyone actually checking up on how this sneaker has been made? There should be.

Anyway, if it's something you might want to own and you can't find it in stores then just click yourself over to Six Feet Down.

Stan Smith Velcro Pack

Color Combo.

There is no need to buy four different sets of Stan Smiths anymore. Get one and simply change the heel. Like adicolor but somehow simpler.

The Stan Smith is the classic when it comes to low sneakers. It would not be crazy to say that most people have either owned a pair or thought about owning a pair of this sneaker. And once you're hooked, you start to compare all sneaks to the Stan Smith.

The only problem is that after a while you realize that maybe it would be nice with a different color. Sure the original color combos are all nice but you would need to get two, three different pairs to have some options. But now that problem is gone. By changing the color on the heel and combining that with different colored shoelaces the Stan just a lot more interesting.

Adidas Full Back

A 0.39.

One way to celebrate that spring is on it's slow way would be to get a sneak that is sporting white-on-white.

This Full Back from Adidas in one of the cleaner ones that has been released this spring. It's almost a bit surprising that Adidas would launch such a sneaker. It looks almost like a high end (very expensive) sneaker.

It's clean, it's crisp and a safe bet for spring. I would say that a safer bet will be hard to find right now. The design and the fact that it's white means that it will go with almost anything. But on the other hand it also means that in might be seen as somewhat boring. But who cares about that when you know that you're sporting a sneaker with style.

Sweet Sneak.

Adidas Top Ten, Aluminum.

Something shiny!

One of Adidas long running favorites has found new shinny clothes.

The name Top Ten comes from when it was given to the ten top players of the NBA in 1979. And since then it has become a classic among sneaker lovers. For good reason, I wrote about another version of it not that long ago. And then just like it is now the Top Ten sports a very nice design. This color combo is low key until you look at the tongue and the ankle padding. The red and black works perfect with the grey and the aluminum gives it that little extra.

I wouldn't call this a spring/summer sneak, so it's actually a bit surprising that they choose to launch it now. Either way, clean pair of kicks.

Adidas Authentics Collection Spring 2010.

Original Flashback.

Spring means spring collections. This is Adidas Originals taking us back to a time when style was style.

Lately there has been a lot of Adidas here on The Best Stuff I See. The reason is simple, originals from Adidas normally look good and the fact that they now drop their spring/summer collection.

The pieces that they release in stores this time around consists of four T-shirts, seven sneakers and seven jackets. The overall concept seems to be 70's summer with colors going in yellow, green and blue. It's all very clean but the ones that really hit it out of the ballpark is the Vintage Polo and the Superstar Track Top. The Track Top being what the guy on the right is wearing.

I do think it's time to run over to the store before someone buys it all up.

Adidas Forum Mid AT-AT.

Start the year with Star Wars.

The Best Stuff I See is back and so is Sneaker Mondays. To really get us started here is something from Adidas new Star Wars Collaboration.

Star Wars and sneakers combined, can it get better? For sneaker freaks and Sci-Fi nerds it really can't. Adidas dropped this collection now in January, it consists of a number of original models remade in Star Wars editions. Even thought the Forum Mid is the cleanest one in this AT-AT (All Terrain Armored Transport) version the Stan Smith as the Millennium Falcon and the Super Star as the Death Star are also nice. To see those and the rest of the collection all you need to do is click here.

Even though the AT-AT version is clean what I was really looking forward to with this collaboration was a plain white t-shirt with the Star Wars logo in Adidas blue. But looking on the Adidas web page you find that they have not made such a t-shirt. They made other T-shirts (ugly ones). But no one with just the logo. Either Adidas are not allowed to by George Lucas or they are just plain stupid. It's a shame no matter what the reason might be.

The Best Stuff I See will continue to give you the latest from the sneaker front every Monday. But do keep in mind! That if there is a sneaker that you think will make the cut then simply send an e-mail to thebeststuffisee@hotmail.de
