Thank God it's Monday.

Ree Funk.

Finally it's sneaker Monday. Few things are worse than a bad sad Sunday.

And here we have a clean women's sneaker, the Ree Funk in it's gray colorway.

Reebok just confirms what I have always been thinking. The only sneakers Reebok make that look good, are women's sneakers.

Star Wars Sneakers.

3CPO and R2D2.

The star wars original saga from Adidas continues. This time it's a complete split. Inner side gold, outer side white/blue.

Almost every character from the movies has gotten a sneaker in Adidas previous Star Wars collection. This time it's the two best robot buddies that get their own combo-sneaker. The pair doesn't just work well on the big screen but also on a sneak.

But if somebody would have pitched this idea to me I would have been sceptic. One side white with blue the other gold? Just split in the middle? Not really the normal colorway now is it. But somehow it works. And it will surly turn some heads.

JS License Plate.

Read that Plate.

This time around we have something for the one that really likes a big tongue on his/her sneaker.

This sneak is a limited edition sneak in the ObyO collection made by designer Jeremy Scott. It could be a way to simply stand out in the crowd or this one is saying that big tongues are on the way in again.

So for it's originality and it's potential to be a part of a really interesting look. I just had to show it to you guys. Check out more pictures or order your own pair over at sixfeetdown.com

Jackets and Sneaks

Double Up!

It's not only the seasons that are slowly changing from summer to fall. So are the collections. But what to get?

During "Stockholm Vacation 2010" I haven't been posting any nice stuff so today we double up on both sneaks and jackets. Sneakers and Jackets being key pieces now when the leaves slowly shift color.

First we have the sneakers. To the left in the picture we have the new Converse named Star Player Sock and to the right we have the Top Ten Hi in a grayish chrome colorway.

Now you might think - Converse? Isn't that a summer shoe? and you also might be a bit sick of Converse (since everybody has been wearing them this summer). The answer to that is: The Star Player Sock is made of leather so it will keep cold and rain out. And if you think logically, one could reason that the people who wore converse this summer, now wants a change. So they will wear something else. Meaning that now when it's actually not to warm to wear those skinny jeans you will have some sneakers that will make up a amazing combo. Skinny jeans and high Convers simply kicks ass.

The reason why I chose these Top Ten Hi's is because of the colorway. This new chrome colorway will work really well for the ones that are gonna jump one the trench coat train this fall.

And now for some jackets.

BOMB!

These are some nice jackets. The jeans jacket is a Lee original called 191J and is a re-make of the original from the 1940's. I must say, it's one if not the cleanest jean jacket I have ever seen. Put something knitted under that one and bomb you're right up there.

Looking around on the internet for a fall jacket then this one always pops up. It seems to be a favorite of many. This "Bomber" jacket is from Weekdays. The only difference from a jacket of this type from say Alfa Industries is that it's thinner. Which removes the risk of it looking to big and puffy.

To sum up, high sneakers and short jeans or "bomber" jacket.

All Court Low

Tennis.

Again, summer=warm warm=tennis sneaker.

Yet another clean tennis sneaker from Nike. Classic design with a classic colorway. You can't go wrong with a sneak like this. It's gonna look good with everything. Mainly because of the colorway but also because a low tennis sneaker has a profile that work very well with jeans.

If you like what you see you can just head over to caliroots.com and order a pair.

Tennis Classic AC ND

Freshy.

Being in the scorching sun at Melt makes you really appreciate a pair of thinner sneakers. Like this tennis sneaker from Nike.

Got back way to late last night from the festival. It was fun, but a lot of work. And when working 10 + hours a day in the heat and the sun you want something that isn't to warm on your feet. I was doing this in my Stan Smiths but if I had the cash I would like to have done it in a pair of these bad boys.

The design is clean and the colorway is also simple and clean. This is a pair of sneaks that will match with almost anything. Check out more pics at www.caliroots.com

Damn I'm tired, so tired I overslept and got woken up by my boss wondering where the fuck I was. Not the best start of a day. Tonight I'm going to bed early.

Air Max 90

Keep on keeping on.

Without a doubt the biggest trend in the sneakervers the last couple of years has been the runners. Here is the Air Max 90 in a new colorway.

Originally it was named Air Max III but in 2000 Nike changed it to 90, referring to the year it was first launched. First made purely as a running shoe it has not had a clear place with sneaker fans. But when Nike started to release re-makes in new and much cleaner colorways it found the place it has now. Sporty and relaxed but not directly connected to the basket and hip-hop culture.

These Air Max 90s have a mix of leather and mesh and are hopefully not to warm. With a colorway like this it's a really good looking sneaker. The only problem with the Air Max sneakers are that in bigger models they tend to look to big.

It's not often I wish I had smaller feet but when looking for Air Maxes I do.

Nike Air Force II High.

Nice Nike.

The colorway is not my cup of tee but the design of the sneaker is. Air Force II is just very clean.

It's simply a nice design. They really got it right when they did this one, making good use of lines and fabric. I especially like the patch on the heel (that in this colorway is black).

If you feel the urge to get a pair of these you need to order them from the English site www.jdsports.co.uk Because Nike is Nike and they like to make there sneakers exclusive by just releasing a specific model in only one store.

But still, clean sneak.

Dots Dynasty.

New Colorway.

Soon Nike is launching a very colorful colorway for their Dynasty High. This one with mainly blue dots and another with purple dots.

This picture doesn't really do this sneaker justice. The Dynasty High is a well design sneak, you just can't see it in this picture. It look much better when someone is wearing it. Hell, most high sneakers looks strange when the tongue is all laced up like that.

I like the colorway and the idea to have it colorful. It also seems like this is what the designers are going with. More and more colorful sneakers are popping up and it's probably gonna be even more. Might not be my style but it's fun to see.

At the moment you can only order these from Japan but it wouldn't surprise me if you see them in a Nike store close to you very soon.

HUF Hupper Numero Uno

111.

The number one. The first official shoe from HUF. Of course it's a limited edition, only being sold in San Fransisco and Los Angeles.

With this sneaker Huf is trowing them self into the sneaker game. They released it just this weekend. Only 111 pair were up for grabs so they are probably all gone by now (It would be strange otherwise).

But it is a clean sneak. The cut reminds me of a chuck but there is also alot of a dunk high and toki feel to it. The colorway is also clean, even if I'm not that into the big contrast of dark colors and a bright white sole. That's somehow hard to pull off.

Even though, I am wondering if it's gonna hit better with the streetwear crowd or if it's gonna be more of a "fashion" sneak. Either way it's a nice high sneaker that should go well with jeans.

Oh, and as I predicted. It was a good weekend, even if I only when out one night.

Alife Indoor Low/Blue

With Blue.

Back in April I wrote about this sneaker in the post Alife Indoor Low, now it's here again but this time with a nice sky blue heel.

What was true then is also true now. Alife has produced a very well designed sneaker. A low leather tennis shoe. The only difference from the all white original is the blue details. But I have to say this is almost better than the previous model. Sky blue and white is a really good color combo. So if you like blue and need sneaks to match, then get yourself a pair.

Man am I tired, this weekend was a good one. But being out on the town leaves it's marks. Like hurting feet. I should get a new pair of sneakers that aren't so warm.

Pastel Pack from Asics.

Everywhere Pastel.

One of the big running shoes companies has finally realized that now the market is bigger than just people who actually run. Runners are for everybody.

Asics releases their Pastel Pack fittingly for summer. It contains this GT-II and a Gel Lyte Speed in blue, purple and pink. I like this one with it's soft yellow and lime colorway. It's a good designed runner and the color are truly summer.

It's surprising that you don't see more from the running shoes companies now that runners made such a comeback the last couple of years. But big company are slow to re-act and I don't think they have the same design department like Adidas and Nike has.

Clean design and a sweet colorway.

Feeling the urge?, then go over to Sneakers and Stuff and check it out.

Nike Dunk High AC

Perforated Leather Pack.

In a month or so Nike is gonna launch this pack consisting of a Dunk high, a Air Force 1 Low and a Toki all in white and all in perforated leather.

This is a straight up summer launch. It seems as if Nike has realized that people want white sneaks with that preppy canvas feel to it. And looking at the pictures you can see that they have done a good job. My favorite is clearly the Dunk. The Toki looks a bit strange in my opinion.

But Hey, to each is own.
