Sun glasses

Frogskin.

No wonder they are all sold out. These sun glasses are f**king crazy. In there very 80's way they will turn some heads.

There are a few things that you wish for in sun glasses. One, they should look good. Two, they should hide you eyes. Most of the glasses in the Frogskin collectors edition gives you just that. The only problem is that they are sold out. So if you feel the urge then you need to seek them else where.

Check out more versions on www.oakley.com or head over to the more than well sorted Swedish store caliroots.com The ones with white frames, nice.

Good with fall. Part 1.

The Flea Market.

There are a few things that are actually good with fall and that the weather is beginning to turn into crap.

One of the nice things to do in fall is to go to flea markets. The old things, the people, the whole set up works better when the leafs are turning gold and the air is a bit chilly. The mood is something special when you get up on a Sunday with a flea market day ahead. Just drinking a coffee to get yourself up and then going straight to the restaurant for brunch. Brunching in Berlin is like a hobby for some people and the interest in this way of eating had given the city a good supply of affordable brunch menus. That all-you-can-eat mentality really works in the city.

After you have filled up on to much food and to little drink it's time to go to one of the many flea markets. And the Berliners love their flea markets. You can find them on Saturdays but on Sunday it's for real, then it's business. And people have stuff to sell. Maybe people got a bit crazy and bought to much stuff in the 80's or they simple need the money, because flea markets are big business.

If you pick the right one you will get a nice mix of normal people selling off their memory's and professionals with € signs in mind. But some of these pros are artist trying to get by or young designers that want to get there brand going. It's that mix, a smoke, a cup of coffee and the fresh autumn air that makes the Flea Market one of the really good things about fall.

The only hard thing is to manage to get up to make a day out of it. I'm usually to hung over to walk out the door at 10 in the morning on a Sunday.

The Sun is still Shining

I wear Sun glasses at night.

Sun glasses is not a new thing, it's bin around for a while, the chines had them in the 12th century. The Inuits also had shades but they didn't using glass on there's but instead they had narrow slits to make less light hit the eyes. Wonder if they also use there sun glasses as a fashion accessory.

But which pair should one choose? There is a lot of different ones to pick from. My favorites has always bin the aviator shades. Not only because you can combine them with almost any set of clothes but also the fact that they give you that inconspicuous edge. I see you but you can't really see me.

But I would say -Why stop at one pair?, don't buy brand names that cost to much. Buy a couple of different pairs in different colors to match the stuff your wearing that day. And who really cares if you don't have designer labels on your sun glasses. I don't and you shouldn't. Cheap sun glasses might not last very long but why should they? Next year the fashion is different anyway.

The Sun is shining.

Shades are required.

Even walking to work I now need to put my shades on. Not long ago the idea of this would never have entered my mind, but now as we find ourselves in the end of April, it's just different. The sun is back. Oh yes, the sun is back.
