The Essentials of Partying.

The Music.

Once again we have managed against all circumstance to prevail and reach the weekend. And one of the things that Berlin can really do, Is the Weekend.

In the city of techno (and all other endless varieties of electro), the music and the DJ is somewhat the king of the club. Well maybe music is king and the DJ is a duke or governor. And a club can rise or fall because of the DJ and the music that is being played.

The problem is that there's to many DJ's. Who is Who? When telling someone about a club they always ask - So, who's Dj-ing? That counter question always make me think. I mean, who really knows all these Dj's? I don't. I can understand if you're a DJ yourself, then you should know a couple. At least you should know your competition.

So to solve this ignorance of the people I suggest that they start making DJ cards. Collectibles with a picture of the DJ on the front and his or hers statistics on the back. If it works for baseball and hockey then why not for DJ's.

But enough of my rambling, what happens in Berlin this weekend. Well it's hard to tell this time around. A lot I'm sure, but exactly where the best party will be held is not really know to me. I know that there is an after party for the Florence and the Machine concert that should be good. But other than that I guess that the big once will be safe bets (panorama, berghain, renate, gate or butzke to name a few).

Where every you might go, there will be people and there will be music. So have a good weekend!
