World Cup!

Football people.

Like most Europeans the Germans love their football. And you can see the games pretty much everywhere. The dynamics will be changed during the world cup.

The biggest public viewing in town will of course be the one at Brandenburger Tor. Thousands of people will gather to watch the games. This will not be for the ones that want it quiet, during Germanys games the number of fans will easily go up to the hundreds of thousand. It will be Black, red and gold everywhere you look.

The step under the "fanmeile" will be other organized viewings by bars, club and in parks. All businesses that have open at game time will have a TV somewhere. The way I see it, the best way to enjoy the games is outside at a bar or restaurant with a bunch of friends. It's gonna be perfect. First watching the game and then going out.

This weekend there are a couple of things that are gonna be nice. Arena is having Less Iz More with a bunch of good DJs from The Netherlands and on Saturday the last "Fuck me now and love me later" before the summer break. There is Gruppenzwang in Suicide Circus. Fabelwesen in Club Recorder looks interesting and it seems as if AKA AKA is having a set at Festsaal Kreuzberg.

But one thing I'm wondering about is the rumor that Berghain has a pool on it's roof. Is this true?

Have a great weekend! See you on Monday.
